Essentially a wooden bowl blank is a cubical green piece of wood which is got from a quarter cut log. Green wood means it is not kiln dried or chemically treated which makes it easier to work with. Wooden bowls can be used for decorative purposes or for food storage as it gives a natural elegance. Wooden blanks can be of different species of wood and of different sizes for various purposes.
